Remember that although you may not always feel like you are making a ground shaking contribution to your family, friends, and the planet as a whole…although you may not feel like Ghandi or Mother Teresa- you are still living and doing your part just by making any effort at all. You are still living your part. Who knows how many lives you have touched with one kind word, one thoughtful gesture, or one kind action (however rare they may be)?
One thoughtful moment to stop and wish someone well, one smile, one tiny extra effort made, one hand extended, one word of encouragement—these things can have an untold echo throughout the world and for generations to come. One act of love can change the course of history.
